Hello, My Name is Ryen Slaughter. I am a junior and an undergraduate that has recently transferred from LaGuardia Community College after getting my associates degree in Fine Arts: Design Studies. My current major at the moment is English. I don’t know what I want to become as of yet based on a career standpoint, but I have recently thought about possibly becoming an Art Teacher/Professor or a children’s book illustrator due to my interest in art. Involving anything: drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, I truly do it all! My artwork is very child-like which is the reason why I want to get into children’s books, being that most of my characters are sweet and seem to appeal to a younger audience more.
